Privacy

What this site learns about you, and where it goes.

The site has no accounts, sets no cookies and keeps no copy of what you send. The details are below, by what you do here.

Reading the pages

The pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser.

Cloudflare serves this site. Like any host, it sees the internet address each request comes from, and it counts visits with a small script. Cloudflare states that this counter uses no cookies or other storage in your browser and does not fingerprint visitors: Cloudflare Web Analytics. The builder page is served without the counter. Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The samples are files on this site. Downloading one asks for no name and no email address. It is a request like any other, and the county housing sample reports are served without the counter.

Using the free builder

The builder runs in your browser. What you pick and type there is not sent anywhere: the page makes no network requests.

A program can use the same builder at /mcp. What it sends is used to build the answer and is not kept.

Using the free site check

You give a website address. The site reads public pages of that address, about nine requests, and shows you the result.

The answer is kept for ten minutes, so that asking again does not run the check again. After that it is gone.

What the check read of that site, its home page and its robots.txt, is kept for the same ten minutes, so that the fix pack preview does not have to read the site again.

To stop abuse, fresh checks are counted for one minute per internet address: six a minute at most. Nothing else about the request is kept.

Using the fix pack preview

You give a website address. The site reads public pages of that address, as the free check does, and shows you which files a fix pack would hold for it, with the first lines of each.

The preview is kept for ten minutes. A fresh one is counted with the checks: six a minute at most from one internet address. Nothing else about the request is kept.

Voting

A vote adds one to a count for the product you chose. The count holds nothing about you: no cookie, no account, no name and no internet address.

To stop abuse, votes are counted for one minute per internet address: six a minute at most.

Sending an order request

The form asks for your name, your email address, the website for the site check, and a note if you want to add one.

The site turns the request into one email to Seven Sky and keeps no copy. The email also carries the internet address the request came from and the name of the browser or program that sent it, so that abuse can be recognised.

A program acting for you can send the same request. The email then says so, with the program's name if it gave one.

At most three requests a minute are accepted from one internet address.

Paying by card

Card payments are made on Stripe's page, not on this site. Stripe collects your card details, your email address and your name. For the site check it also asks which website; for the data story, which question.

This site never receives your card details. Seven Sky sees, in its Stripe account, who paid, what for and how much, with those answers. Stripe emails you a receipt. Stripe's privacy policy.

Booking a call

The booking page is Google Calendar's. It asks for your name and your email address, and you can add a line about what the call is for. Google handles the invitation and the Google Meet link. Google's privacy policy.

Writing or calling

Email to moe@sevenskyconsulting.com is passed on by Cloudflare to a Gmail mailbox. Order requests arrive in the same mailbox.

What Seven Sky does with it

It is used to answer you, to do the work you asked for, to send an invoice, and to keep business records.

It is not sold and not shared for advertising. There is no mailing list.

Seven Sky uses AI assistants, at present Anthropic's Claude, to help read its mail and prepare its work. What you send may be processed by them for those purposes.

Order emails, invoices and payment records are kept for as long as business records have to be kept. Nothing about you is kept on this site. The vote counts are kept, and they hold nothing about who voted.

Asking about your information

Write to moe@sevenskyconsulting.com to ask what Seven Sky holds about you, or to have it corrected or deleted. Records that have to be kept, such as an invoice, are kept.
